Hi, my name is Edward Nole and I am a licensed LPC in Oklahoma. I have 10 years experience as a licensed professional counselor and oh so many more helping people throughout my life that have come to me in need of guidance, solace, or just an ear to listen.
Understanding the role of hope and how it impacts our ability to identify, move towards and integrate positive, meaningful, lasting change in our life is what make this work so rewarding for me and my clients. Hope as I will help you understand is not “pie in the sky” or “wishful thinking.”
Hope is a blending of goals-means-personal power necessary to follow our own path to the qualities and objectives we want in our lives.
I specialize in helping people understand and recover from past and current trauma. There is no topic out of bounds at this time. My clients are typically dealing with issues around; adapting to change, depression, anxiety and other mental health concerns.
I believe in finding the best solution for each client. Positive psychology and hope theory underpin much of my approach, but finding the right therapeutic model or style is best customized to the individual. My preferred models of treatment include: Person Centered, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution focused and Dialectical Behavioral therapy. I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples that are beyond their threshold of tolerance, for their current situation.
Be it a traumatic event, work stress, familial discord or more serious mental illness; my goal is finding the supports and strategies to help you enjoy success attaining your wellness goals.
Congratulations to you, for taking the first step of your journey to a more fulfilling and hopeful life
